Madalene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Columbia University and received her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Fairfield University. She approaches the therapeutic relationship from a strengths-based lens when supporting individuals, couples, and families in crisis, current and long-standing life challenges, and family reunifications. Her treatment methodologies include (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (DBT) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, the Gottman Method and she is EMDR Level 1 & 2 Trained. Madalene previously worked with children and families from the Catholic Academy of Bridgeport and has robust experience in business management, public speaking, and communication skill-building mentoring. Her extensive travel and global experience living in France, New Zealand, and South Africa adds cultural awareness and sensitivity when working with clients ensuring a personalized and collaborative approach to treatment plans.
