Madalene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Columbia University and received her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Fairfield University. She approaches the therapeutic relationship from a strengths-based lens when supporting individuals, couples, and families in crisis, current and long-standing life challenges, and family reunifications. Her treatment methodologies include (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (DBT) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and the Gottman Method. Madalene previously worked with children and families from the Catholic Academy of Bridgeport and has robust experience in business management, public speaking, and communication skill-building mentoring. Her extensive travel and global experience living in France, New Zealand, and South Africa adds cultural awareness and sensitivity when working with clients ensuring a personalized and collaborative approach to treatment plans.
