Alexandra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received her Master of Social Work from Columbia University. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, and families in various settings including outpatient, nonprofit, and school programs. She also worked with oncology and intensive care patients in a hospital setting, which deepened her understanding of grief counseling and medical advocacy.
Alexandra is trained in EMDR and draws from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She specializes in working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, substance use, and chronic illness. Her therapeutic approach is relational and client-centered, with the goal of supporting individuals to feel safe and empowered in a non-judgmental space.
